So, for extra credit: Where did the interior for Preston and Vera's model come from (year and model)?

Hint: It's from a real convertible car (land yacht)...

...it was almost 19 feet long and weighed a little more than 4,800 lbs, but still had a 120mph top speed...

OK--- my guess is a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado. You know, the big fins and lots o' chrome.
Am I right? Am I right? What do I win? A new 1959 Cadillac Eldorado??? Huh? Huh?

Good guess: It's got big fins and tons of chrome, and you're almost there with the year. But it's not from General Motors at all... :(

Not an Edsel, not a Ford. Add a foot and another half-ton (+1,000 lbs)...

Not a Packard...

...but if you "Google Image" just the right year and make, it's the first image that appears: A big, RED, and awesome one-of-600 or so of this model...

BINGO!!! More than half a foot longer than the extended length Ford Excursion. Try fitting this in your garage:

Image

That's the interior to the Project Vera model: grayscaled, flipped horizontally, cut, pasted, trimmed, erased, distorted, cloned and cleaned up.

If you Google either "1958 convertible" or "1958 imperial", it's the first image that comes up...

Congrats, Martyn, you're spared from Zombie Tucker!

Those were horseshit clues. Saying it's not a Chrysler is like saying a Lincoln's not a Ford or a Cadillac's not GM.

I declare shenanigans on this contest!
