Yes that is right, only the driver side fender is made of fiberglass.

After the Richard Kughn car was sold in 2002 does anyone know what became of it? I was at the auction and plans for conv. were tapped to the side of the body. Please read the following article and review the pictures.

That was test frame number 1052 with the front end of number 1018 and a few panels from number 1027 and also came with new doors and extra back bumpers. Front bumper was also from 1018. Many extra parts came with it along with two Tucker engines.

Yes I believe building the 2 door and or the convertible is pointless.. I just wanted to throw some thoughts
out there for fun... If I had that kind of money... I'd finish it off as a original 4 door sedan.... like you say
with the right paint and interior I think it would bring as much as an original... why not?... All Tucker Stock parts?
a few fabricated... Whatta ya gonna do? They ain't making no more.... number “57” (or 55) finally rows off
a line...

On another note... Look at the Big Three now... wow.... now they know how Preston felt....
Way things are going there... may be a lot of models going the way of the Tucker....

Have anyone seen Tucker 1027? I have never seen it and the pictures on this site are from when this sold this lot of parts.

It still belongs to Wayne Lensing near Rockford, IL and last time I passed through there he hadn't done anything with the parts.

As you can see the offers on the car went from $1.10 to $200,000 but never made it near an original 4 door Tucker car.

I remember several years ago there was a listing for a Tucker convertible in Hemmings. Wonder if this is the same car. But if I remember right the Hemmings one was listed for less than $250k. Always wondered what happened to it.

The listings I've seen in Hemmings were for the same car, and the price was always $1 million.
