What was the number of the Tucker that was in the Imperial Palace Auto Collections? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, that's the car I was thinking of.
Did they have a silver one at one time?

Chris,
#1008 is the only Tucker I know of that the Imperial Palace had for any length of time. They hosted the TACA Annual Convention at least twice over the last 15-20 years, so they have definitely had other Tuckers on display for a weekend or two. I believe #1008 is still on loan to the Volo Auto Museum In Chicago. It was originally a beige car, but has been maroon since the 1950's (see Feb '07 Tucker Topics).

Volo does not have it anymore. It is back in Chicago in a private collection which I understand has plans to open to the public.
Harrah's has a silver car. Maybe you're thinking of that.

No, I know the Harrah's cars backwards and forwards, including #1029. I think the car I'm thinking of was sold through the Auto Collections when it became a dealership after Ralph Englestad's death.
Or, I'm just imagining things. It's been a long week, either's a good guess.
