Sounds like the trip of a life time.
1001, 1022, 1026 - You likely know about the Dave Cammack collection in Alxeandria with 3 Tuckers and much more. This is by appointment only 703-836-4520
1025 - Frankfort Indiana- / The Goodwin Collection is a private collection that would also need to make an apointment to see. Depending on there work schedule they may or may not be able to accomidate the visit.
1012 - La Porte, Indiana- this is no longer the Door Prarie Auto Museum but is the Door Prarie County Museum that does have several cars on display. #1012 is one of them. I would check their open days / hours so you don't miss seeing it.
Tucker Factory - Chicago, the orginial factory was located at 7401 Cicero Ave. - Today this once gigantic complex is home to Ford City Mall, Tootsie-Roll (they DO NOT have tours) and the National Archives - Great Lakes Region, as well as storage facilities and other firms. You can stop in the mall and still see the columns that you see in factory photos. Also take a drive around the entire site to get an idea how huge the facility was (about 500 acres!)
1008 -Chicago, - While not typically on public display you may wish to contact this collection to see if you might be able to visit it while on your way to WI
1048 - I understand this privately owned car is currently on display at the Hartford Museum but I would contact them to make sure.
Tucker "convertible" / aka "Tucker without a roof" - I'm not sure the status of this vehicle or where it currently is at. You should contact them directly to see if it is available to see.
1047 -Hickory Corners, Michigan- Gilmore Car Museum (open every day)
www.GilmoreCarMuseum.org Tucker #1047 (with about 50 miles onit) is on display along with the the Tucker Automoible Club of America's own Tucker Historical Collection and Library - the Offical Tucker Archives. Here you will find a recreated Tucker sales office complete with many rare Tucker artifacts. If you arrive during the week (and can make prior arrangements) Myself or the museum's Archivest would be able to give you a glimpse at some of the Tucker holdings in the archives. The museum itself displays over 200 vehicles (1898 cars and motorcycles to 2009) in several historic buildings. You could easily spend 3 - 4 hours there or more.
Tucker #1047 will be featured at the Bay Harbor June 24 - 26, 2011 and will NOT be on display at the Gilmore during that weekend.
1015 St. Clair Shores, Michigan- This car is currently in the restoration shop and not on display within the Stahl Collection. You may have to make an appointment to see the remainder of the collection.
http://www.stahlsauto.com/1016 Dearborn, Michigan- The Henry Ford / Greenfield Village. #1016 is on display and is considered one of the most original Tuckers out there as it has never been restored. This museum is a huge complex and you could easily spend the day (or two) here.
While in Ypsi also check out the RM Auctions showroom and you may be able to make arrangements to visit RMs restoration facility in Chatam, Ontario Canada where they are currently restoring #1046.
Hope this helps fill in the gaps for you. ENJOY!
