Does explain why I saw it sitting outside the warehouse yesterday. Maybe this is why they had the bodywork repaired on it a few months back.

That is the first Tucker I ever saw. It was at the lumber yard awaiting the truck to take it to California for the filming of the Tucker movie. I have been hooked ever since.

If Gene Cofer actually drives that car in please ask him three things for me.

#1 Where is #1042

#2 Where did the "convertible" come from?

#3 Are there any Tuckers in Heaven (besides #1023) or does everyone get one there?

In the posting of March 12, it states approximately five times that a Tucker Torpedo will be on display at the art museum. I am anxious for the convention to arrive so that I can personally observe a Torpedo. The only Tuckers that I am familiar with is the "Tucker 48".

Clem, good talking with you this morning. As we well know, there never was a "Tucker Torpedo". We have tried for many years to get people to not refer to the "Tucker 48" as the "Tucker Torpedo" but they insist. By the way, Preston Tucker also didn't like the proto-type being called the "Tin Goose" and Howard Hughes didn't like his sea plane being called the "Spruce Goose".
