The car made it`s London debut in February at the Classic and Sports Car Show at the Alexandra Palace. It won Best American and in the current issue of Classic and Sports Car it `stunned visitors to the show`. So impressed were the editors of the magazine that a full feature on `this maverick machine` will be featured in the June issue of C. & S. P. The profile will include some stunning photos of the car taken at their Teddington studios together with some on the road shots taken during a full road test. As you would expect the car ran faultlessly. I will be opening a website solely dedicated to chassis 1049 and will keep the club informed as to when it be online. Best jj

Congratulations John!
Definitely keep us all informed on the website and post scans of the magazine when it hits stands. (I don't know if we'll be able to get it here in the states).

John, good to hear of the success with 1049. Know you are very proud of it and the excited viewings plus the awards it received at the car show. A Tucker never is at loss for attention. I am sure the people in England are very happy there is now a Tucker for display. Continued success and if we can be of any help here in the USA be sure to let us know.
