I have read from various sources that the turret design from the Tucker combat car was contracted to companies or under license to build twin .50 caliber gun turrets for PT boats and aircraft. I was curious what companies that the turret design was licensed out to. There were 3 major companies that built twin .50 cal turrets for aircraft those being Sperry, Martin, and Bendix. All three turrets are much different so I was wondering what turret was the Tucker design. Also I noticed that the twin .50 caliber turrets on the PT boats are quite a bit different than the aircraft turrets. I have both Martin and Bendix aircraft turrets.
Thanks, Ryan
