location of old Tucker I saw when a kid

When I was young, I used to hang out at a body shop across from my grade school. Inside was a Tucker that was painted pink and white with the logos of some dairy on it. The body shop was around 24th and Greenfield on the south side of Milwaukee. I am sure that car was properly restored at some later date. The body shop no longer exists and I last saw the car when I was in 5th grade in 1965. Does anyone know where this one ended up?

You saw Tucker #1043. This car more recently was sold, restored and sold again at auction on 1/23/04 for $450K plus fees. I do not know its where abouts since then other than to know it is in a private collection.

It was purchased in 2005 in excess of $700K by the same gentleman in Arizona who bought the GM Futureliner for $4 million plus. Supposedly he is working on opening a museum, but that could be just rumor.
