I believe that my Grandfather, Lee Treese, was one of the original designers of the Tucker. This information has been passed on to me by my mothers brother. My mother passed away in 1957. I would be most appreciative to hear if this information is correct.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
According to Philip Egan's book, "Design and Destiny: the making of the tucker Automobile," Lee Treese was--and I quote from p. 38

Tucker was accompanied by Lee [S.] Treese, a mass production expert from Ford with a long and varied background in the automobile industry, now Tucker's Vice President in charge of manufacturing.

That's about all that mentions him in this book. He's listed again on p. 55 as an officer of the the company.
According to the first issue of Tucker Topics, which listed the Tucker Executives, Lee Treese was the Operation Vice-President. This means he was probably the man who oversaw the actual production of the cars.
