There are reports online that Tucker #1019 has been sold. The car was owned by the Hull family since 1959 and has been on display at the San Diego Museum for the past several years. The car originally was sold to a Seattle dealer and went through several Washington state owners before it arrived in California where Mel Hull bought it. The car was Grey from the factory but was painted blue by 1949 and has seen different several colors over the years.

We have learned that RM Auctions purchased Tucker No. 1019. RM Auctions purchased, restored and auctioned Tucker No. 1038 in 2009. We understand that they are also restoring Tucker No. 1046.

RM Auctions also sold (but did not restore) Tucker No. 1045 last year.

Looks like #1019 will finally get returned to its original Grey color! I'm sure RM will do a great job.
On the sale price I doubt we'll ever know for sure but Deb Hull is a smart lady and with #1010 going for $800,000 I'd bet #1019 went for something well north of that. I'm sure her Dad would be proud of her.
