I'd like to see if anyone has photos or slides from the Plant Auction in October of 1950. Back in 1985 there were 50+ slides of the Tucker Plant Auction in Chicago that belonged to a Tucker Club member and were loaned to the Tucker Topics editor. These were photos of the actual auction and not the Life Magazine photos. Copies were made available to members wishing to buy them.
I have been looking for these photos for several months now with no luck. I have contacted all the obvious people that might have them. The Club member has since passed away as did the Tucker Topics editor from that period. There does not appear to be a set in the Tucker Historical Collection & Library.
If anyone knows where a set of these photos or slides might be please let me know. I am more than willing to pay for any costs in getting them copied. They would be very helpful in my research on the Tucker.

Why don't you ask Pommering to print this as a classified in the Topics?
