A Miller-Ford race car tops in Concours Show

The current issue of Autoweek (April 5, 2010) states that a 1935 Miller-Ford 2 Man Indy Roadster, owned by a Mr. Tom Malloy of Corona, CA., won first place for the American Heritage Racing classification at the 2010 prestigious Desert Classic Concours d’Elegance, held at the La Quinta Resort and Club in California. There is a great picture of the car at:

Tucker supporters will recognize the 1935 Miller-Ford as being the Preston Tucker-Harry Miller race car- the beautiful Indy 500 race car.

From looking on the web, I have learned that Tom Malloy has an incredible collection of racing cars. At his main business he apparently also has his hobby business, the Trench Shoring Race Shop, a combination shop/museum, at 556 Malloy Court, in Corona. It is now on my list of places to go when next back in San Diego.

You can also see Tom's car at the really good web site on Harry Miller at:
