Movie Car Parts For Sale: 27 Pieces!

Currently on EBay there are two different sets of parts that were made for the movie, however ALL the parts are also available as a complete set.

1 Front Bumper/Grill
2 Front Left Fenders
2 Front Right Fender
2 Rear Left Fenders
3 Rear Right Fenders
5 Left Rear Doors

so I take it these parts were some of the ones used in the factory shots where you see racks of body parts in the assembly line scenes?

Wow, that's interesting. These are actually the parts to the one and only Tucker Movie Car Convertible. It was kept off the set and hidden
from all but a select few. They planned to use it in the movie but Justin Cole had not discovered the Convertible yet so the story line just
didn't work out and it was kept hidden until now.....just kidding

Steve's number lists to Elliott's Silver Lady Antiques, 515 E Fremont St. Tombstone, AZ. 85638 which is in the SE corner of Arizona just
about 25 miles from Mexico.

The parts, however, are in Elk River, MN which is just NW of Minneapolis. Maybe this is the Minnesota Tuckers we've heard about
all these years

He has two lots:

the $8,500.00 (buy it now) lot which includes a front bumper, a right and left front fender, a front hood, a right and left rear
fender, a rear engine grill, two right rear doors and two left rear doors (he has no front doors but he says you could modify
the rear ones into front ones fairly simple...sure you can )

So after you send Steve $16,000 plus the cost of shipping and wait for the parts to arrive, (did I mention he is just 25 miles
from mexico?) he'll still have 3 hoods, one right rear fender, one right rear door, and one left rear door left to sell. Isn't there
a Tucker in Madison Wisconsin that needs a pair of rear doors?

I had wondered how about those parts when I saw the movie. I wasn’t sure if they were Styrofoam or cardboard or plastic or what. It looks like they are made from paper thin fiberglass. Not the easiest thing to work with for an actual body panel but not impossible. I doubt the seller really expects to get that much for the pieces. I should see if I can go look at them for the heck of it since I am so close. I think the front and back doors of Tuckers are almost interchangeable if I recall. The only difference being the curved fender extension piece or whatever you might call it.

From the movie picture it means there is a guy out there somewhere with 12 front doors (6 right & 6 left) and 6 rear deck lids.
If someone could figure out where they are you might be able to make something out of it. I don't know if you could make a
real car out of it but I'd think someone could hang the panels on an old Dodge or Buick and make a cool 50 footer out of them.

From what I was told, these seem to be fairly sturdy pieces. Just one fender had a thin spot. But give the guy a call and figure it out. All 27parts could be had for less than the eBay "Buy It Now" price of $16,000...

If I had the time, I'd give Rob Ida a call and get a hold of one or two of his body shells and have some fun with the build up:

That's cool but how about making it a one and only built at the factory prototype.

Here's a note I received from the seller to anyone interested:

Since we had no bids on these Tucker body parts we closed the auction early and are gong to put them back in storage. Before we do that, we decided to offer all 27 body parts to the Tucker Forum for $12,000 plus shipping - which should be approximately $600 - $800.00 to deliver them to your door. That’s $444 per part if anyone is interested in all of it or part of it. The parts are generally nice and thick and well-made...
