Very Rare Yellow Tucker Cookie Jar on eBay - ENDED

Postby TuckerCar » Sun Nov 11, 2007 6:49 pm

This is a very rare yellow version of the Tucker cookie jar that is being sold by its creators (not me).

The first 51 cookie jars were glazed in the (then current) colors of the first 51 cars and were trimmed in gold (the rest were waltz blue with chrome trim).

The first 51 jars were offered to the car owners first so it is very rare that one of these becomes available for sale. I was lucky enough to get one of the first 51 back in 1997 and wouldn't sell it for anything.

This particular cookie jar is of the famous #1041 owned by Bev and Dorothy Ferriera.

Bid high - this isn't just another Tucker collectible.

We are thrilled for a lot of reasons to see the price this brought. I hated to see it good, but its been a tough year and Santa needs the loot.

Now I've got the dilemma of should I but my black beauty, #16 on the block...
