Original Tin goose Bumper & parts going up for sale

Postby Mustang03 » Sat Oct 27, 2007 11:03 pm

I am looking to see if there is any serious buyers around for a collection of tucker parts including the original Tin goose Bumber. I have full documentation of this bumber, start to finish and complete proof this is the original. Other items will be revealed later assuming the buyer is serious.

Email me at Dreamtuck@comcast.net please and I will answer any and all questions and Like I said SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. No run arounds.

Thank you

Tin Goose Bumper

Postby ehartman13 » Tue Oct 30, 2007 1:33 am

Why don't you just contact the owner of the Tin Goose, it is owned by Swigart Antique Auto Museum in PA. I am sure they would like to see this, of it is the real deal.

Damnit! LOL Could I find patterns to atleast make my own bumper somewhere? I want to start out just making the "grilles" and then move on from there, maybe even make the bumpers out of fiberglass if that would be easier.

Looks like some posting have been lost while moving from the old to the new system.

Anyway - I am pretty sure the bumper is available...at a price.

Maybe it is sold....I'm just stating what I was told the next day....when I bought the grill. He said the taillight lenses and bumper were there...as well as the engine.

Did you buy it?
I just wanted something simple to display and the grill seemed perfect...........

I won the bid on the bumper, but I didn't reach his reserve.
Sent him an email afterwards, but he didn't answer me... so I guess that if the bumper is sold, somebody has bought it after the auction ended.

I believe he was asking something like $40,000 for it. As least that is what I recall he offered it to Swigart for (owner of Tin Goose).
