Hi All--I was going to order a copy of the Tucker Technical Manual and noticed they were out of stock. Will it be available soon?

Unfortunately, no. There's copyright issues preventing the republication of it. (One of the author's has since passed away, from what I understand and that's what's causing the problems.) Copies occassionally appear on eBay, so your best bet is to check there.

Thanks for the info. That's too bad. I've never seen the book, is it worth tracking down a copy? I was interested by the description on this site.

Yes and no. It has tons of information in it that can't be found anywhere else, however, it's a bit lacking in details. A Tucker owner would find a lot of useful routine maintence information from it, but if you were going to rebuild the engine or transmission, it wouldn't be all that helpful. It is not nearly as detailed as a factory service manual produced by one of the car companies would be. If you can find one on eBay for roughly the same price the club charged for it, then I'd go ahead an get it, but if the seller wants something like $100 for it, I'd pass (unless it came with other groovy stuff).

Might I suggest lulu.com? It will enable the book to be published as a "print on demand" book and they won't have to fiddle with printing copies, etc. It'll also be available via amazon.com so they could potentially rack up more sales.
