I am typically not the type of person who speaks poorly of others (especially in the automotive hobby), but I find I must speak my mind in the case of Mr. Brett Ping, a.k.a. franklinflat6 a.k.a. pingding22. I have enjoyed my membership to the club and all that it offers, especially the interesting topics spawned on this discussion board by Tucker enthusiasts. This has changed slightly since Mr. Ping stole onto the scene earlier this year with his inane, repetitive and ignorant questions. In his short tenure infesting the bulletin board, Mr. Ping has manged to insult Tucker icon Richard Jones, start topics with responses to only himself and end many an interesting topic by skewing off on an uninteligible tangent or to plug his plug of a car. If one can decipher Mr. Pings messages through the mispelled words, grammatical errors and many a run on sentence, you will gather that over the past 3 months this illustrious VW mechanic, Body and Paint expert, college student and Proprietor of Beast Automotive intends to build the Tucker combat car and mass produce the [new] Tucker 48. This is quite a lofty goal to undertake considering he just recently learned what a Tucker was. You must have exorbitant amounts of money to undertake such tasks, which is good, because you will need it in life to manage Mr. Ping. Being the learned college man that you are, why don't you try picking up a book for answers instead of taking up space on this or any other site and wasting the time of the esteemed individuals associated with it with basic questions that Francis Ford Coppola did not answer. Surely by now you must realize that movies (however good they may be) are not predicated on complete fact and filled with all the answers. Although Mr. Ping goes to great lengths to discredit himself (as referenced over the past months) I write this to point out the harsh truth to those who agree, don't closely follow the board or are new and see his graffiti pasted in any number of locations. Don't take his automotive visions of grandure serious, save your time, he intends only to waste it. It is a shame that even after 50+ years charletons such as the likes of Mr. Ping are still trying to exploit the Tucker for personal gain. If you have a hard time with any of the big words in this message Brett, just post a question and I'm sure some dutiful enthusiast will come to your aid as usual. Do us a favor though, don't kill yourself on your foreign VW powered "go cart thingy", we wouldn't want anyone to think that Tuckers are unsafe...
