TACA was asked to post this message on Jim's behalf.
I am working on a Chronology of The Classic Car in Minnesota and surrounding areas and looking for information On the Tucker relating to that.

I know that there were at least three Tucker Dealers in Minnesota, maybe four. Two were owned by people with the names of Hall and Schnell. The third may have been owned by a David "Whitey" Lares and I can't remember the name of the fourth.

David "Whitey" Lares owned a yellow Tucker that I believe was sold to someone in Wyoming. There was also a fellow by the name of Bill Lund who owned a Tucker.

And then there is the story of a Bob Turner who had six Tuckers in the late '50s or early '60s. Some of thes Tuckers needed Transmissions. One of the cars Bob Turner bought for the Transmission was a Cord Custom Beverly
with a Sun-Roof in it. My dad saved this Cord from destruction in May of 1962. He bought it from Bob Turner for $50.00. Although unrestored, he still owns the car today. Supposedly, the transmission out of this particular Cord
is in the Tucker in the ex-Harrah collection in Reno, Nevada.

Anyone that can supply more information, pictures, newspaper articles, etc. on the above topics, please contact Jim Davis 8363 West 100th Street Bloomington Minnesota 55438 1-952-941-6784. E-Mail jimellen@tcinternet.net.
Looking For Tucker Car Information Relating To Minnesoto

Davis Lares of Anoka, MN owned Tucker Serial Number 1011 and it was sold on 20 Jan. 1987 to the current Montana owner. The original color of the car was Paint Number 400 which was Beige.
Bob Turner did own Tucker Serial Number 1032 that was in the Harrah's collection in Reno. He apparently sold it to William Lund, Jr. who sold it to Harrah's. Bob Turner also owned Tucker Serial Number 1040 and Tucker Serial number 1028. In 1961 there were two Tucker's in Minneapolis, MN that were owned by William Lund.I do not have the exact year that Mr. Lund sold 1032 to Harrah's
