Tucker demise an American shame

Postby Tucker fan » Thu Jan 30, 2003 2:18 am

I'm just a fan of Preston Tucker and his masterpiece. The closest I'll come to owning a Tucker is my diecast models, and many of the features in every car I'll ever own. Preston Tucker was an inspired genius, and the Tucker 48 was a giant leap forward for automobiles.
The Big Three automaker-U.S. government conspiracy to destroy Tucker was one of the worst scandals of American history; and apparently, no one involved ever had to pay for their actions.
Had Preston Tucker been in an America that practiced what it preached, many of us would likely be driving 2003 Tuckers today.
