I recently found a Tucker in my home town. It was in horrible shape and had many modifications. I looked inside (it was sitting in a movie theater parking lot) and the rear seat was missing. I could see the engine through where the back seat should have been. The car had been spray painted by hand with cans of black and silver paint. I too saw the movie several years ago and have been facinated by the car. I might be interested in trying to purchase this car from the gentleman who owns it. It will take a LOT of work and money to attempt to get this car presentable. Can anyone help me answer a few questions?

1. Considering the condition of the car what would be a fair price for the car? (a lot of the original parts are missing)

2. What resources are available to obtain parts, vehicle specifications, etc?

3. Is there someone who can fabricate body parts and interior (original seats seem to be missing) and what becomes of the value of the car if new parts are fabricated for it? I might not want to dump a ton of money into it if I can never recoup. I may do it just for the pleasure of owning a small piece of this car.

4. Bottom line: How many of you would be interested in this car if you were in my shoes?
