Lawson Inspired Chrysler

Apparently, after the Lawson designed Tucker Torpedo appeared in ads, a designer at Chrysler, Jon W. Hauser, was inspired to create Le Prix in 1946. It looks an awful lot like a Tucker Torpedo crossed with a Chrysler Airflow.

Oh, the illustration appears in the 2nd issue of Motor Trend Classic which is currently on-sale. The magazine also has a number of different prototypes, including 'Vettes, Alfa Romeo's B.AT.s, and a big article on the Citroen DS.
