"Professor Plum" Die-Cast Tucker!

Postby John K. » Sun Jun 26, 2005 10:53 pm

Wow! :D I just stumbled upon some diecast Tuckers yesterday! I was shopping at a "Big Lots" discount store (they may be nationwide, I don't know) here in metro Detroit, and I found a display of small Johnny Lightning cars, with "Clue" character markings. Among them was a purple car which looked suspiciously like a Tucker. Of course it wasn't one... was it? Was it? Yes, in fact it was! It has "Professor Plum" graphics on it, and modern mag wheels, but overall it's a faithful replica of our favorite car! I don't know if this is a one-time deal or not. Check out the "Big Lots" stores in your area. Playing Mantis makes them, they say Johnny Lightning at the top left of the package, and they include a collectable card from the "Clue" game, too. Incidentally, the car is part of a 12-car "Clue" series-- 6 vintage cars, 6 modern cars.
