memories of Tucker

I have only one person associated with Tuckers since I was young and that was at a collector car auction in the Seattle Washington area in the 1970's.
However I have a Tucker story.
My Father was a Tucker fan and bought $500.00 of stock in the company. I believe it was in the early summer of 1948 that a dealer who was a close friend of my father demonstrated a Tucker with a big fan fare in Pasco Washington. I remember the event was in front of the New Pasco Hotel and the crowd was very excited. Dad got to drive the car and the family rode with him and the Dealer, a Mr Phleger as I remember. Dad put a $500.00 deposit toward buying a Tucker. Of course he never got the car and his stock money went a way too.
In the summers of the early 50's I worked at the swimming pool at the old Naval air station outside of Pasco and had been everyone of the buildings and hangers on the base except the northern most hanger whose doors were never opened. One afternoon in the summer of 1952 or 53 I had prepared the swimming pool to open that evening and to kill time started driving around the old building and wandering in and out of the open ones. I was surprised when I got to the north hanger and the big doors were open about two feet. I looked in the door and the doors at the other end were open about the same. The sand and dust on the floor was thick and at the other end of the building I could see three cars. I went in to look at them and found three Tuckers cover with dust that had accumulated over a long time. I could find no one around the building to question and hung around until I had to go to work.
When I got home I told my dad what I had found and he would not believe me. However the next day he called several people who should have know if there were cars stored in the hanger or not and everyone denied any knowledge of these cars. After two days of pestering my dad I convinced him to go to the hanger with me. When we go there the door was still open couple feet. We looked in and it was empty but the door was mostly open at the other end. We went around to other end and it was plan there had been three cars setting there for a long time and fresh tracks where they had very recently move out.
My dad decided maybe I did see Tuckers (and I gaurentee I did). He started a seach and question every one who was associated with any aspect of the old Navy base and no body seemed to know anything about any cars stored in any building at the navy base
I know they were there. Would anyone in this group have any knowledge of this.
Since seeing my first Tucker I have always been a Tucker fan.
