Tucker #1015 Wins Best in Class at Concours of America

A couple weeks ago we stopped in to see #1015 undergoing its restoration in Michigan. It's the dark green one in the Stahl Collection. An amazing restoration. It was absolutely perfect with flawless paint and chrome like a mirror.

I just saw that it won its class at the former Meadow Brook Concours. A well-deserved congratulations to the entire crew, and especially Bill for the tours of each of the facilities. There's a few pix on the Concours website, but does anyone have any more photos from the event?

If you get the chance, schedule an appointment to see the entire collection. Some amazing cars that I can guarantee you'll see nowhere else.

Even more amazing when you consider I watched them rolling it into the spray booth to be painted on June 13th. Congratulations to Brian, Bruce, Ken, Greg, and everyone at Classic and Exotics for the fantasic job they did putting #1015 back together in record time. I can't wait to get back to Detroit to see the finished car.

A nice pic of the car and a brief news article on the show can be found here: http://detnews.com/article/20110731/MET ... o-Plymouth

(Be sure to click on the pic of the car, not only does it enlarge it, but takes you to a short slide show of a couple other cars at the show.)

Nice to see it completed. I sat it in when it was still in the Stone Mountain antique car museum. It was quite a thrill but the car was far from perfect.
