A MOST SUCCESSFUL 2011 CONVENTION

Postby Clem » Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:02 pm

The 2011 convention was by far the most enjoyable convention we have ever attended. Everyone attending
should send a big thank you to Martyn for a job well done.

Ed Way and I just talked by telephone and he told me you all had an incredible day with Eric's collection and the Tucker cars you saw (and many rode in). Those of us unable to be there hope some more pictures will get posted.

Congratulations to Eric Breslow for a great event today and to Martyn Donaldson for all his hard work on putting on the convention. Thanks to J.R Roberts for bringing Tucker #1003 and John Schuler for bringing #1052 to today's event.

Two Tuckers drag racing, never thought I'd see that !

Is the #52 project the grouping of #18 front clip and parts of #27 and NOS parts? Hope to see a thread on the progress of that project and more pictures of it.

Also would like to see updates of #46, that was looking really great. Can't wait to see it roll out completed!

Any other projects out there?.. What ever happened to the Fiber glass green car (movie prop) thought someone
on the site here bought is and was going to rework it?

Been kinda quiet on the board was hoping to start up some discussion and updated photos...

You are correct on the #52 project. It will be a marriage of a lot of Tucker parts from various cars. It looks pretty good so far. I'm sure Martyn and John will update us as it progresses. It'll be a couple years.

#1046 is moving forward. If I remember correctly it should be done in the spring.

The green movie car is in Norway. Last I heard it has not changed in a long time and is on the back burner.

There is a guy in Mississippi working on putting together a car from parts he has bought.

Another project is going on in Michigan to put a car back together using Tucker and other parts.

Ricardo has not worked on his car under the tree in LA for several months.

The Tucker Club has not done anything with its movie car due to lack of funds.

The Convertible is now in Boise ID.

That should account for all the Tucker parts left that I don't own or that are in collections

Awesome! You are the All Knowing Tucker Guru! I'm glad you're here on the board.
Any photos of the projects in Michigan or Mississippi? Were these NOS parts as all the
other completed cars are accounted for? How many parts are we talking...
These gonna be 70% +- Tucker 4 door cars?...

How awesome.. Would love to threads on these projects and have updates.. Would be nice to
watch and see the progress on them.
