Tucker Club Member Charles D. Barnette has passed away

Sad news as the Tucker Convention gets underway. Tucker Club member Charles D. Barnette (CDB) passed away on June 13th. Many of you will remember that Charles "invented" the first Tucker portable radio last year. I got to know Charles pretty well as he worked on it and was able to help him out with some cables. He loved Tuckers and was especially fond of Tucker #1045. He was an attorney in Texarkana. Recently he had been helping me with research on a former Tucker owner in Arkansas.

He had signed up to attend the Tucker Convention this year to show off his portable Tucker Radio. We'll miss him at the Convention and as a member. I will also miss him as a friend.
