Hello fellow members...
The next Tucker Topics is about to hit and in it is the annual election ballot. I respectfully ask for your vote to join the clubs board of directors. Why should you vote for me? I am fully committed to preserving the legacy of Preston Tucker and the Tucker Corporation. These are changing and challenging times and car clubs must evolve to stay relevant and funded. Technology, exciting content and unique social experiences must be offered to keep existing members and entice new members to share in the Tucker story. If elected to serve the membership I would use my experience and contacts developed over many years in the automotive aftermarket and as a volunteer to multiple charitable and trade organizations to better enhance the club in any way possible. I would love to assist the clubs talented webmaster in enhancing the capabilities and functionality of this website to bring the vast Tucker club archives to the world wide web so that all members can enjoy the HCL from the comfort of their own web browser. I would also explore additional fundraising opportunities to expand the clubs financial ability to produce new Tucker content and events. I would leverage my ownership of Tucker 1031 with other owners on behalf of the club for future conventions. Most of all I would simply like to talk Tucker with other people that were inspired by what this man tried to do over sixty years ago when an idea and a dream meant something
Respectfully,
Eric Breslow

Again, it's nice to see the Board back on. Too bad it was down when the ballots went out. For those that may not have voted I am also a candidate. I find myself in an odd place running against two of my close friends, Larry Clark and Eric Breslow, in an election for just two seats. I'm sure that Mr. Leasor is an equally qualified candidate. It appears from what has been published about him that most of his contributions have been from being involved in Conventions and Meets which would explain why some members may not have connected with him before. Having four good candidates does offer the Club a chance to move forward in a positive way.
As for a reason to vote for me, I believe I can add a lot of strength to the Board. As an active Tucker researcher I've worked for the past several years to track down anything Tucker related. I hope to track down every possible part we can so that we can work to preserve what is left. I've worked closely with my friends Larry Clark and Richard Jones to expand upon the wonderful work they've already done. I've worked with Jay Follis as well to find the answers to many puzzles in the TACA Library. Those that know me will tell you that I never give up on solving a puzzle. I've found locations for just about every Tucker photo I've ever seen. I've added nearly 150 documented Tucker owners to the list we previously had. I've also uncovered important photographs such as the only known photos of #1042 and many new photos of #1035. I was flattered to even be featured in an 11 page article in a Brazilian magazine about researching #1035.
If you choose to elect me I promise that I'll work harder than anyone ever has to make sure that each and every Tucker item we can find is preserved so that the history of the car won't disappear. I will also work very hard to become a liaison between the Club and the car owners. I think that will be very helpful as we go into the future.
Thanks for your time !
