I know 1038 sold for north of $1 million in 2008. Does anyone know where it went to? I'd like to update my table on Wikipedia, currently I have its location as "unknown".
Nick.

HI NICK,
Good to see you on this site. Tucker 1038 has disappeared as do others as the owner doesn't wish to be anoyed by persons wanting to see the car. We wish they had a different attitude and would display their Tucker.
Hoped you would be able to be here when the Carpenter's came by with 1017 Tuesday. Really fine people who go out of their way so others can enjoy their beautifully restored Tucker.

They sure do!. Not only did the Carpenters stop by to see Richard and take him for a ride in #1017. Today they stopped off in Charlestown IN to visit former Tucker owner Marvin Whitsett. Marvin once owned #1017 and last saw it 40 years ago when he sold it in 1971. It's great to have owners that love to share their cars.
