Tim,
This information is courtesy of Richard Jones who was a techical advisor during the filming. Richard and another Tucker Club member, Russ Brownell, were in charge of keeping the cars running. If you wanted your Tucker repaired back in 1988 these two guys were the best.
The following Tuckers were in the movie. Tucker #1004, #1005, #1009, #1012, #1013, #1014, #1015, #1017, #1019, #1021, #1022, #1025, #1026, #1029, #1031, #1034, #1037, #1041, and #1050.
Tucker #1020, #1039 and #1051 were also sent to Richmond CA. where the filming took place but they did not appear in any scenes as they were not running or incomplete.
There were 4 Tucker replicars built on 1974 Ford LTD chassis that were used in many scenes. There was also the Studetucker which was used in the rollover scene. It still exists in a Museum in Florida.
Again thanks to Richard for providing us with that information.
Mr. Coppola owns Tucker #1014 and #1037. Mr Lucas owns #1009 and did own #1003 but sold it several years ago.
If you'd like to drop me a private message here on the Tucker site I'd love to help the LeMay get the history straightened out on Tucker #1007. I'm unsure where the ownership information came from on your website but much of it is incorrect and I would be happy to document the history of #1007.
