This is interesting. I've seen the video of Jackie getting into the ambulance using the drivers side rear door. When I first saw this on the Barrett Jackson site I noticed that the way the interior of the car is layed out it would be impossible for someone to enter the car and sit that way. At the time I thought something was wrong but I've already got 50 cars I'm tracking history on so I didn't follow up on it. Good to see someone did.
The history on collector cars is so important. The more we can do as a club to track down all the genuine Tucker parts will prevent this from happening with a Tucker again. Otherwise we'll be doing it all over gain in a few years when someone finds #1042 in "Grandmas" garage and claims Preston gave it to them.

Yeah, and it sold again after the auction for an undisclosed amount to Tammy Allen.

I saw that interview with her, but I assumed that she was the one who bought it at the auction.

I'm a little surprised no one has posted a picture of a grey Tucker ambulance yet.

Yeah...saw the interview. Listening to her talk is excruciating. Did anyone see the B-J special where they showed the construction of her museum? As part of the interior design, she had a gigantic "hood ornament" made of her face ::shudder::

Yeah, she sounds like she's done some serious acid in her day. Apparently her father was put away for some white collar crimes.
