As for #1045, the car actually looked pretty awesome, despite a few small blemishes. To my untrained eye, it seemed very well cared for. The paint actually appeared very presentable and the much-discussed door alignment really didn't look all that bad, but I don't know what it would take to straighten it out. There looked to be a fresh ding on the left rear fender. The engine needed a little ether to get it going and it sounded just a little rough to start, but hey, who doesn't? Although not perfect, it's a car anyone would be proud to own...
I met the owner of #1015 who was also going over the car and we had a great, allbeit too short, discussion on all things Tucker. Hopefully, he ended up with it, but it no doubt ended up in the hands of a Tucker fan. Also, one of the RM guys who let me in for some photos (I wasn't bidding) was very familiar with the Tucker in Sacramento (unknown number) that I think eventually sold to Brad (volks1500).
There are a lot of Tucker fans out there, as passers-by would see the car and say "Ooohhh! There's a Tucker!".
