Actually I want the issue of Tucker Topics that had the picture of Preston Tucker and Joe Lencki standing next to a Tucker body that
had it's top cut off and the caption under the picture read " Tucker orders Lencki to take body #57 (pictured above) to his shop
and build a convertible protype out of it".

That issue would be worth more than 25k...say maybe 5 million dollars!

It's the third time she's listed it at that price. Several of us have emailed her to let her know she's off - apparently she's 'selling' it for someone else. Funniest part is, it's in poor condition and there's another on there right now with a $6 starting bid. I wonder what the insertion fees are for a $25K starting bid.

I bought one of these at the Antique and Collector's show in Portland, Oregon last spring. The Gentleman selling them had two of them and I was able to pick the better of the two for the princely sum of $22.00.He also had some other "rare" brochures and automotive literature that were older and in much better shape between $5 and $150.00, depending on what they were. This phantom "seller" obviously has no idea what she is doing, I mean, she has a feedback score of (12), which does not say much about here knowledge of these things. For humor's sake I will consider all offers of at least $10K for mine. Besides I can get another one this spring when the antique show comes around!! That would be a savings of $15K for the buyer!!
If you didn't get dirty, then nothing was accomplished!
