Hello from North Myrtle Beach. Although new to the club, I have been fascinated and captivated by the Tucker since I was ten years old. Back in my hometown in North Carolina, two friends bought a Tucker franchise. They never got a car, but one came to our town and took folks for a ride. As was typical, my friends got all kinds of factory info, Tucker Topics, telegrams, updates, etc. They got some luggage and radios. I spent many mornings talking with these guys as they relived the memories of going to Chicago, and anticipating the car. When the last of my two friends died, his son came to my office one day and started bringing in boxes. He said his father left instructions to bring me the Tucker stuff when he died. They had saved everything from their original franchise agreement to the reports from the bankruptcy trustees. So, most of you have probably seen all these things, but if there is anything one would like to see that you have not seen, just let me know. I will be happy to scan it and post it here. Over the years, I have seen several Tuckers and taken many photographs. One year back in the 80s the Waltz blue car was at Hershey, and most recently the convertible (#57) was there. I am not qualified to judge on its authenticity, but I did appreciate the fine work done on the car. Sorry to ramble, but I look forward to sharing and learning from you folks. I do hope to purchase a car, but the recent appreciation may have taken it out of my range!
