That does look cool. The idea I've always had would be to cut the top off of one of the 4-door sedans, maybe #1027 since it was damaged anyway, and build a two door convertible out of it.
number 27 have been made into a convertible already but there is still the test fame with the 1018 panels on it. Well there was a Corvair station wagon with the rear engine. Maybe the Tucker would have worked the same way with the engine under the back floor.
It does look cool, but now that you mentioned that people are going to start coming up with stories of how there was a real one that was in the R&D area when the plant closed down and now its in some barn in Michigan or some place.
