Its a maroon Tucker, and the front bumper appears to be painted white, for some reason. http://www.flickr.com/photos/13411027@N ... otostream/

appears to be one of the movie cars, all done up. take note that there appears to be no holes for which a radiator could get ventilation in the rear. the taillights also look to be a bit chunky, as if they were made from fiberglass. i would still like to get my hands on one of these, cobbling up a Tucker from scratch out of sheetmetal is a bit difficult, unless you're Ricardo who has access to all the spare parts in the world as well as a great amount of space under a tree :D

Hi, this Tucker have no motor in it but a built it turn table to make it turn as a display only. It may be the Tucker that my friend made for a Barnum and Bailey Circus show some long time ago.

:D Yes that is what I wished, a great amount of space under the tree and access to all the spare parts in the world. Well since it could only hapen in my dreams I have to make my dream come true by building the car mostly out of scratch out of sheetmetal and under the hot summer sun. Well nothing will stop me from dreaming and building this Tucker of mine under a tree. One thing I would like to tell everyone here. If you can't buy a Tucker or even a replica Tucker you can all dream and dreams come true if you hold on to them. Like you see I am holding on to this dream and I am making my own Tucker under a tree. The dream is becoming real and more real each day. Never let go of your dreams since nothing is imposible if you hold on to you dreams and do whatever it take to make them come true.

That photo is similar to one I received from the late Frank Tucker. He told me that the photo was taken at a Lucasfilm Super-Live show in Japan many years ago. He said that particular Tucker was one of the 4 replicas made for the movie, and had a golf cart motor in it to move it around. It also had a pedestal that dropped down through the floor which allowed it to spin around, imitating a turntable.

This car now belongs to TACA. Just another surprise many missed by not attending the convention!
