Minnesota Tucker

Around 1985 there was a Tucker for sale in Minnesota. There was an ad in the paper for it and I went to look at the car. It was located in either the Coon Rapids or Anoka Minnesota area. They were asking $50,000 if I remember correctly. It was painted an off white color and had been sitting in their garage since the 50s. It did not run and the owners had no idea of what it would take to get it going. It was mostly intact and didn't seem to be rusted away. The car was real dirty from sitting for so many years. At the time $50,000 seemed like a lot for the car considering it's condition and the ugly off white color. Since I've learned that many of the people on this board know not only where every car is, but where every part that was ever on a car is. Does anyone know what happened to this Minnesota Tucker and what number it was? Just curious so I can go kick myself for another 25 years for passing on it. I probably should have listened to the phrase, "Don't let a Tucker pass you by".

At one time David Lares owned Tucker Serial Number 1011. He lived in Anoka, MN. The car was Beige and had Tucker Paint Number 400. Mr. Lares passed away and the car was sold in 1987 to the present owner in Montana.

Also Bob Turner of Hopkins,MN owned 3 Tuckers at one time or another-1028,1032 and 1040.
