Tucker convertible found online, origin unknown.

CORRECTION: The photograph posted was a phony, however, there is a real Tucker convertible according to the administrator in WI, but it is unclear if it is a Tucker that was butchered, or if it is a replicar. The photo should be as close to what the real thing looks like as possible.
More like a REALLY bad PhotoShop experiment.

In fact, if you translate it (French), he says it doesn't exist except for on his page.

He made it using his #7 photo.

The supposed 'real,' or closest to real convertible is in Burlington, WI. I've seen it, and I'm still not convinced it has any connection to any original Corporate plans.

Edited by: tuckercar at: 1/19/05 5:33 pm

Do you have pics of the Tucker convertible? I have heard some interesting things about this car and I would like to know more. My email is metalpro_084@hotmail.com
I don't have any pics, but if you come to the Chicago Convention, it may be there (no guaranties).

I read in an older (early 90s version) of an ORIGINAL prototype Tucker convertible and an original for sale. I also would LOVE to see some picts of the 'vert everyone is talking about on this forum. All of my old mags are in storage in L.A. so next time I'm down there I will try to find the exact issue.

Yeah, as I recall Allan was asking $1,000,000 for both 1043 and the 'convertible.' 1043 has been bought and sold twice since then. As of now, I have not gotten any response from Allan on attending the convention.

This is a test to see if I can log on.
There was never a convertible built by Tucker Corporation.

Richard,

Now I don't feel so bad. It took me awhile to figure out this board, it is not as easy as the originator of the new board thought it would be for the existing members, I liked the older one much better. You should have to log in first, then view and post a reply. Being able to read them, then have to sign in and go back to the main menu to find what you wanted to post a reply to does not make it very user friendly but I guess we will have to live with it. Has anyone else noticed that the postings have seemed to go way down since this was put into play? Anyway, will you be at Convention 2005? You have answered many of my past questions and would like to meet you.

All you have to do is log in once and check the box "Keep Me Logged In Each Time I Visit."

It works exactly the same as the last board.
