Alex Tremulis's Military Experience

I seem to recall that Tremulis was at Wright-Patterson during part of his time in the military and it was at Wright-Pat that a lot of the captured German secret weapons were shipped to for analysis. Was Tremulis involved in studying them? And were any VW Beetles or Tatras brought there?
