Tucker convertible replica built on a Corvair

Postby SuperFleye » Mon Feb 02, 2009 1:16 pm

I remember seeing a Tucker convertible replica based on Corvair some years ago, I tried to search the forum, but couldn't find any info on it. Does anyone here have pictures and more info about this car?

fact or fiction,
All leads back to the conv, is any of it real, or just wanabe as this.
Many confused this with a real one, oh boy !!!!!

Just like casual conversation herein about #52 and #57.

I like TaterTots!>>>Shall it all be put to rest and explained.

I don't know. I think this particular thread needs to die on its own.

TuckerCar,
This Corvair thread, the number #52 car that keeps popping up and the other one that was supposedly in Chicago, ? a buick or some crap were all rumoured to be legitamite tucker convertibles.

Possibly: Tucker convertible Corvair, #52 and Chicago replica Tucker as topic????

Needless to say, with skeptisism on #52, the general public will be put to rest about talk and arguement. Thank God for small miracles>>>>

Maybe #52 will prove to be something more, if so, it is in this column topic area and could be addressed further without clouding the other topics.
After all, Tucker and many others seem to think that it was this car, >>>number 52/57 do look quite alike with the curved letters Tucker used?

You can bet the above cars will surface again unless explained by fact and put to sleep forever, or at least, the best we can.

Just I like TaterTots!, lets end all the crap, heresay and missunderstanding.
Again, I like TaterTots!,

Hi John, there is no 52 car out there as of all I have put together till this point. The car that was said to be 52 is just another of the Alin Disneyland stories. If you go and read my "Mystery Egg #2" topic you will see what car that was. Now on the Corvair Tucker there is one out there and it was owned by George Esch. None of the Esch car is real. All fiberglass panels that were traded for his real Tucker parts by a friend of mine. I also believe I found 1057 but it is now another Tucker with another number and was also sold by Alin Reinart. I am working on that at this time and hope to post the story today if posible.
