Tucker Engines Current Market?

Hello everyone. Great website.

I hope I am posting this in the correct area. If I am not I apologize.

I was wondering what the current going price or present value of a Tucker Engine in the crate, complete may be going for these days. I didn't know if anyone had bought one lately or heard of one being sold.

How rare is it to find these still in the crates, complete?

We came across one for sale and I wanted to do a little research on them first. I found some great info on here! I am in the process of getting the numbers and can post those when I get them.

It was never in a car and there is no car (unfortunately) with this.

There was one for sale on eBay a few years back that was going for around $10K. Tucker built something like 150 engines and not counting those still in cars, at least 5 of them have survived. There may be more than that out there. That's just the number I know of, and there's people out there who could provide better numbers than I.

Can you share some photos of this find? It would be of great interest to us all to see a motor in the crate.

I will try and post some pics as soon as I can get some good ones together. It's in a dark place and hard to get good shots of it.
