Just a little different look at Preston Tucker.
His destiny may not have been to manufacture the The "Tucker 48" but to prewarn America of things to come dealing with government control, foriegn competion and corperate politics.
Would the Government Bail Out the Tucker Corp today as they contimplate the Bail out of "The Big Three" today?
In 1948 Tucker employed 1600 personel at his Chicago Location, what would that number be today if he was still in Business.Probably thousands more.
Just some Thougths to ponder.

Also worth noting that today (12/26/2008) marks the 52nd anniversary of his death (if I did my math correctly).
