Aricle About One of Preston Tucker's Friends

Actually, about one of the buildings owned by a friend of Tucker. I've not heard of William Mellus before, but he apparently owned the local paper in Lincoln Park. Interestingly, the building the paper was in, resembles the garage used in Tucker: The Man and His Dream.

Wonder if the set designers for the movie modeled it after that building, or if the style was fairly common at that time? (Don't seem to have been many that have survived, if it was.)

My grandfather was friends with Alexander Sarantos Tremulis and I am trying to track down his affiliation with Tucker. He knew Preston Tucker, but to what extent he did is unknown. Tremulis would come to my grandfather's house and they would disappear for hours. To top that off, my grandfather would disappear for months on end. Never truly saying where he went.

Besides having clearance to Roswell NM, Tremulis created the first concept of the UFO. If my grandfather worked at Roswell on governement projects, when will this information be made public to family?

Alex S. Tremulis was employed by Preston Tucker as chief stylist of the Tucker Corporation. Alex (to a great extent) designed what was to become the Tucker '48 that we all know. His contributions to the company were substantial.
