Anyone else having trouble with this new forum?

Hi

I know I don't post often, but I do enjoy reading this site. I was wondering if I am the only person to find this new board system to be very hard to navigate and use.

I hate to complain, but this system is totally different from the previous system which was very pleasing.

I have been trying to find the thread in relation to the fellow handcrafting a replica for himself using left over sheet metal and a dodge. If anyone can help me locate this thread I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, there's something flaky with the search engine as I can't find the thread either.

I think it prunes the old posts. Either that or some of the older stuff didn't make it over when we upgraded.

I love the new forum. I haven't had to delete and spam or porn or bogus users since we upgraded. On the old version I was deleting 30 users a day and 5 posts and people still complained.

Actually, I think its that the search engine just doesn't index past a certain date, as if you click on the page tabs on the top of the forum, you can find threads going all the way back to 2003. I did manage to find the thread the OP is looking for, by doing this. It's here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1217
