New Member Looking For Spacific Tucker

Hello all, im new here, im looking for a Tucker that a friend of my fathers used to own. he probably owned the car in the 1970-80 time frame. the car lived in the area of cleveland ohio during this time frame. i forget the name of the owner, but from what i have been told the car was light blue in color. we heard rumor that it was used in the movie and that it was dented during the production, we also heard that it was possibly used in the chase scene(the car in the movie looks more silver in color but i heard that some were repainted), but im not positive about the correctness of the info. i was just wondering what happened to this car and where it is now. thanks for all help, i will ask my father for more info but if anyone can tell me anything from the little info that i have provided would be appreciated.

Hi, The car was #1013, now in the Swigart Museum, and probably would've been owned by the Heinrich family in 1987 when the movie was filmed. I believe that Ohio would've been its home state at the time, too. It has a pearl-gray paint job with a hint of blue in it, probably lighter and more lustrious then the original pearl-gray from the factory. Of the 22 actual Tuckers used in the film, many suffered at least a bit of damage here-and-there either in shipping or during filming, but none quite as much as unlucky 13 from what I've heard. Many of the cars had pre-select mechanisms on the transmissions that weren't working very well, so in some cases the rear seat was removed and a technician would lie down on the rear floor of the car and operate the shift mechanism directly on top of the transmission! In the case of 13, the technicians failed to replace the rear seat in #1013, and it was left out in the weather. And while a lot of the chase scene was done with a replica - the difference can be spotted - I would not be surprised that the real Tucker in that scene was #1013 and that it suffered additional damage.
