At least, I think that its the Stude they used, its definately not the actual Tucker that rolled on the test track. No clue as to where or when the pic was taken, but I notice that there's rust on the crumpled areas, so I can't imagine that it was taken during filming of the movie.

Wasn't it located in an auto museum in Tennessee at one point? (Still there, perhaps?) My cousin sent me pictures of it when he saw it there some years ago. I vauguely remember hearing - though we know not to believe everything we hear, especially things that are merely vague in our heads - that Lucasfilm and/or Zoetrope was not happy about the car being displayed, but that the sales agreement did not preclude the option of the owner to put it on public display. Also heard that it still had the canon inside (on the right front where the passenger would have sat). It had a hole in the floor board beneath it and was loaded with a three-foot length of telephone pole, which created the roll-over effect when fired into the ground.

It's at the Tallahassee Museum now. At least it was there when we held our Convention there in 2004.
