Tucker Spare Parts

Postby Tucker 1003 » Sun Mar 30, 2008 2:16 pm

Are there any sources out there for spare parts to aid in the completion of the restoration of our Tucker? Specifically we are looking for heater control (and other interior) knobs as well as original door hinge pins, taillight lenses, hubcaps, and various other miscellaneous stuff (the list is long). We know that Mr. Cammack has specs for most of these items but before resulting to the re-manufacture of anything, I thought it might be productive to poll the group on parts sourcing. Thanks for your help.

Tucker spare parts

The Nashville restoration was incomplete and it's with another restoration shop undergoing some additional work & refinements. The missing parts mentioned would help get it finished properly. In addition, a Cord transmission specialist is necessary as we can presently only use 1st gear.

Two suggestions, check with the folks over at the Auburn Cord Deusenberg message boards: http://forums.acdclub.org/phpbb2/index. ... 4fe67cd59c

Or, given that you're in California, drop Jay Leno a note, I'm sure that he'll know a good Cord tranny specialist.
