Spare tire jack

Postby bigfootbryce » Sun Mar 23, 2008 10:20 pm

Hey guys-

I have absolutely no knowledge of the Tucker. So, thank you for being patient with my silly question(s).

What kind of jack did the Tucker use?

I've come across a jack that is printed Tucker jack on the side of it, but someone once told me that the Tuckers had a built in jack system at each corner. The jack just came down and the car came up. Kind of like the formula racing cars.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Tucker Jack

Thanks for your question. No question about the Tucker is silly. Don't know if there is a Tucker jack company but can tell you that the Tucker automobile did not have a built in jacking system. Also I have never seen a bumper jack designed for the Tucker. The only jack used to lift the car would be a frame or floor jack. Tucker had a very rigid frame. You can place a floor jack or frame jack just forward of the rear wheel and lift the front wheel off the ground at the same time the rear wheel comes off the ground.
