Hi Everyone-
I am doing a report on why Tucker Automobiles are so valuable now. I realize that there were only 51 made (47 available), but is there anything else that makes them especially valuable? Thanks!

So you go to Penn State and are in Mateer's class as well? Wow, this project is harder than I thought it would be!

Without seeming facticious, it is probably due to the fact that there are only 47 examples worldwide, that they incorporated design features that were revolutionary for their time and were designed as an auto that could be bought by the average Amercan at a time when an auto that big, powerful and robust was beyond most peoples budget.

Add to that the fact that it was made under most extreme duress and pressure and still 47 examples were made that made the automotive bigs very nervous indeed.
