How is this possible? Getting the proportions anywhere close is incredibly difficult and yours look spot-on. And out of scrap metal under a tree? If all this is true, you could have a very bright future building replicas for schmoes like me who will never afford an original and wouldn't know where to begin making my own.

Congrats; you do beautiful work!

Wished I had real Tucker parts like they did and I would build this car faster. If there are any parts in that second trailer I hope they send them over to give them good use. If I had the parts they did I would have made another 4 door Tucker like all the others. It would be easyer to make a convertible but I like the way Tuckers were made.

Ricardo-You are doing a tremendous job! We need to see more pictures of this wonderful creation of yours! I commend you for taking on such a massive project of building a Tucker from scratch, not an easy task for the faint of heart. This would not be easy even wasn't a Tucker! What you are doing is a great homage to an already storied history of a Marquee that could have very well put one (or all) of the "Big Three" out of business (or at least dented their sales margin) if it actually went into large scale production. I look forward to seeing it on the road, soon I hope! I know this may be along way off, but what color have you decided to paint it? Anyway, Great pictures and keep up the great work!!

Tip: When you stamp 1058 into the firewall, make sure you only hit it once. People won't believe it's real if the stamps are ghosted...

Amazing work!

It will be painted "waltz blue" and it will be on the road for everyone to see and enjoy soon. It will be the last tucker built or second "Tin Goose" ever made. Also on the number I don't know about what number on the firewall but something that will always be there will be a plate reading that it was made in memory of the greatest car builders Preston Tucker and Alex Tremulis and also I will have a list of all the people helping make this posible with their great help. You are all part of it one way or another :D

Maybe 1000 which go before 1001 or 1051-1/2 next to the last Tucker 1051

Ricardo- Waltz Blue! What an excellent choice! I think it will be absolutely stunning in that color! As far as the numbers go, I think 1000 would be a good choice. There is a Gentleman who makes reproduction data plates of the one that is on Howard hughes' "Spruce Goose" . It has the Hughes Aircraft logo on top with the engines listed and "PROTOTYPE" stamped (silk screened) in the model # space. They are about the same size and style as the Tuckcer data plates. I have one, I will try and find a picture and his contact info, perhaps you could have one made if you don't already have one. Just a thought! I think what you are building is alot more intriguing than the "pile" they (Benchmark) are calling the "only Factory Prototype ever made". Keep it up, You have priceless masterpiece on your hands. Not too many people can say that! Congrats!
