1049 update

WE HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY AT THE GARAGE OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS ON OTHER PROJECTS BUT THANKS TO THE HELP WE GOT FROM YOU GUYS 1049 CAME ON MONDAY NIGHT UNDER HER OWN POWER TO OUR GARAGE. DUE TO A FAULT THE MIDDLE LIGHT WAS ON ALSO ALL THE TIME SO WHEN I WENT OUTSIDE TO SEE IF I COULD SEE IT COMING THERE WAS NO MISTAKING THE THREE LIGHTS THAT I COULD SEE COMING DOWN THE ROAD,AND THE OWNER WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HOW SHE DROVE ON THE M25 MOTORWAY. WE HAVE LOTS NOW TO DO SO I BE COMING ON HERE HOPING FOR MORE HELP & ADVICE IF THATS OK? THE 1ST BIG JOB IS GETTING THE SUSPENSION RIGHT, ALL THE JOINTS & BUSHES NEW & THE RUBBER SPRINGS LOOK NEW ALSO BUT THE CAR SITTING ON THE BUMP STOPS ( NO TRAVEL ) MAYBE SOMEONE CAN ADVISE US WHO WE CAN TALK TO FOR SOME TIPS ON SETTING IT UP AS I'M THINKING WE MAY HAVE TO SLIGHTLY MODIFFY THE MOUNTING SO WE CAN TURN THE SPRING MORE TO LOAD IT MORE
I THINK WE NEEDING TO LIFT IT 2-3 INCHES MAYBE. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP OUT THERE & TAKE CARE & ENJOY YOUR WEEK GARY P.S PLEASE EXCUSE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES I'M NO SHAKESPERE I'M AFRAID

Gary: Thanks for providing your update on #1049. Unlike most car clubs, most TACA members will never experience working on the car of their fascination, the Tucker '48. We can only begin to imagine the challenges when someone like you takes the time to share your experiences with us. Your insights are interesting and valuable to us (even in upper case). Hope you will choose to continue to share your experiences with us. And, when you get the opportunity, we probably all would love seeing any pictures you might share with us. Continued best wishes with your project. Thanks for thinking of us.
